α-Terpineol, ρ-1-Menthen-8-ol
Alpha-Terpineol is a natural monoterpene alcohol, has pines odor or clove odor, found naturally in Pine oil, Lavandin oil, Petitgrain oil and Neroli oil. It appears viscous liquid but easy crystallizing. Αlpha terpineol is one of bulk spices, produced more than thousand tons every years. It is widely used as flavoring on personal cares such like soaps and synthetic detergents (content less than 30%).
